Industrial Consulting
A clear technical route before major decisions are made.
AKOSALUS provides independent technical analysis on the Client’s side. We become involved when the industrial challenge is clear, but the technology, equipment or implementation route has not yet been defined.
What industrial consulting means to us
Consulting is the structured work that precedes and supports an investment or technical decision. We clarify the real objective, examine the available information, identify constraints, compare feasible alternatives and formulate a reasoned recommendation. We start with the challenge — not with a predetermined supplier or product.
The tools we use
01Challenge definition. Objectives, boundaries, source data, success criteria and unresolved questions.
02Technical review. Assessment of the existing concept, process, equipment proposals and project assumptions.
03Concept development. Alternative technical routes and the requirements needed to develop them further.
04Technology & equipment evaluation. Technology-neutral comparison of solutions, manufacturers and equipment against the task.
05CAPEX / OPEX perspective. Preliminary comparison of investment and operating factors relevant to the decision.
06Risk & interface analysis. Technical risks, responsibility boundaries, standards, site constraints and participant interfaces.
How the work is organised
01Initial discussion. Define the business and technical context.
02Data and constraints. Structure source information and identify what is missing.
03Options and verification. Develop alternatives and test the critical assumptions.
04Technical recommendation. Present the comparison, risks and preferred route.
05Decision support. Support negotiations, clarification and the next implementation stage.
Typical working outputs
Structured technical brief · Concept and options note · Technology or supplier comparison · Risk and interface register · Preliminary CAPEX / OPEX comparison · Technical recommendation for the Client
Independent position on the Client’s side
AKOSALUS can review supplier proposals, coordinate technical questions and involve manufacturers, laboratories, designers or specialist experts when the challenge requires them. These parties are resources for the solution; our responsibility is to preserve the Client’s technical logic and decision criteria.
AKOSALUS. AKOSALUS develops concepts, requirements and technical solutions but does not act as a design organization or issue statutory design documentation.
